TRAINING OF FACULTY FOR WORK IN ELECTRONIC ENVIRONMENT

Helping the improvement of digital competences and more widespread usage of technologies in education are prioritized aims of European commission for 2018 as well. Each next action in support of improvement of those skills would improve the academic teaching and the quality of educational services. This article presents the organization of the conducted training with teachers about working with electronical resources for education in Medical University `Prof. Dr Paraskev Stoyanov` - Varna. The trainings were with intention to increase the knowledge of academic teachers about functional opportunities in the platform `Blackboard Learn+` for the purposes of electronical teaching and her more profound usage like helpful technology in education

Pharmaceutical properties of melatonin

Aim: The purpose of the research is to show the physiological properties of the hormone melatonin pro-duced by the human body-how it works, and the positive effects of admission of external melatonin.Materials and Methods: The materials and information used are from different scientific articles pub-lished on the internet site of the National center for biotechnology information and also from the data col-lected since the start of the usage of external melatonin as a drug.Results: They show that melatonin produced in the human body is an important hormone for the regula-tion of the sleep and wake cycle, and that it is used to send signals to many structures in the organism that can read those signals (they have special receptors). Also if there are sleep disorders or any other sleep-wake cycle differences, external melatonin, most common in the form of pills, can be used to help treat those con-ditions successfully.Conclusion: melatonin is an important natural hormone the levels of which in the organism are crucial for a normal and healthy life with regular sleep. DataGraft beta v2: New features and capabilities

In this demonstrator, we will introduce the latest features and capabil-ities added to DataGraft – a Data-as-a-Service platform for data preparation and knowledge graph generation. DataGraft provides data transformation, publishing and hosting capabilities that aim to simplify the data publishing lifecycle for data workers (i.e., Open Data publishers, Linked Data developers, data scientists).
